Periods are the part of every women’s life. Periods are not just a process of bleeding. There are anothers things also which are hidden. I am here to give you the overview of Period and cramps. I am giving knowledge to the people who don’t know what is the reason behind it. And to the teenager girls who just started it or will have in some time. And also to boys or mens who want to know what women go through during her periods and how to take care of them

What is Periods

Menstruation which is also known as a periods. Is the regular discharge of blood and mucosal tissue from the inner lining of the uterus through the vagina.
Simply
Normal vaginal bleeding that occurs as part of a woman’s monthly cycle. Every month, body prepares for pregnancy. If no pregnancy occurs, the uterus, or womb, sheds its lining. The menstrual blood is partly blood and partly tissue from inside the uterus.
The menstrual cycle is characterized by the rise and fall of hormones. Menstruation is triggered by falling progesterone levels and is a sign that pregnancy has not occurred. Means egg is not fertilized.
The first period, a point in time known as menarche, usually begins between the ages of 12 and 15. Menstruation starting as young as 8 years would still be considered normal.The first day of one period and the first day of the next is 21 to 45 days in young women. In adults, the range is between 21 and 35 days with the average being 28 days. You can also say 28 days cycle is Healthy Cycle. But this is not implemented on to all ladies some have 31 days less or more.Bleeding stays upto 2-5 days. In some cases it stays more which could be normal to them but if you have any doubt so you should consult doctors (gynecologists) .

More than 80%. Women experience problems during periods which makes them suffer them alot. They experience:
Cramps in lower abdomen,
Lower Back pain
Bloating 
Sore breasts
Food cravings
Mood swings and irritability
Headache and fatigue
 in some cases legs pain, headache and nausea.
 In some ladies they experience severe gastric too. 
Have a healthy lifestyle and regular periods.
A ELEMENT OF PERIODS IS PMS
PMS stands for PRE MENSTURAL Syndrome
It starts from 3-5 days before the periods. In this women experience a lot of changes in her body. She can experience headache, dizziness, irritation,mood swings, not feel hungry or sometimes more than this.
Periods stops during pregnancy. During pregnancy periods stops for 9 months and after delivery of baby women bleed for 30 to 45 days in some cases more or less.
Lets know about periods delay reasons.
Periods delay could be the reason of pregnancy with the women whose are sexually active. But not every time period delay could be the reason of hormones imbalance, thyroid not having healthy routines or inflammation in inner linning, PCOD, treatment or medications they  are having etc.

Periods pain are may be normal pain for the women but it is not normal. Normalize having and bareing periods pain. In there body everything is changing on that particular time. They are having inflammation, breast pain, abdominal pain, back pain and way more that this.

Have fiber rich foods

which is helpful with constipation. Constipation can make your cramps worsen. So make sure not to have constipation or digestion problem during periods. Have normal healthy food. I know periods come along with craving but try to have it in small portions.

Stay hydrated

Water is benefical in every way possible. So in periods also. If you are hydrated cramps will stay normal not get worsen and sometime they did not occur as well. Drink water 3-4lt everyday. In periods have coconut water. It will help you with its antioxidents and give relief to inflammation in your body. Drink alovera juice its so benefical with body inflammation which cause cramps. Don’t drink alcohol too. It gives you more de-hydration. Some people have myth drinking brandy can cause ease in periods pain but this is wrong way to treat pain. It can cause clotting have more problems  along with cramps.

Foods

As i said have normal foods. I have seen the gastric problem in periods to so many ladies which make their periods more problematic. Have less salt in these days. Salt can cause de -hydration. Avoid oily, fried, and foods which have so many spiecies. But if you are have any cravings. Have it but in small portion which cannot  cause any problem. These are some foods which is useful fore easing pain.
  • Banana
  • Kiwi
  • Stawberries or any berries
  • Dates
  • Jaggery
  • Fennel seeds
  • Ginger
  • Dark choclates without sugar
  • Yoga postures

  • Lay down on you back

Iron

Iron is present in human body which is responsible for blood. Have iron rich foods. And get the blood test done in every 3-6 months for making sure about the defecency of iron.

Sugar

Sugar is not good. Neither normally nor in periods. Avoid it as much you can. Or you should try natural sweetness like honey or jaggery. You can buy brown sugar which is healthy alternative to normal refiened sugar.

Tea

Green tea and blue tea is rich in antioxidents.It is helpful for pains and inflammations. Have it once a day or twice whatever suits you. Avoid heavy caffeine during periods of before the periods. For that matter don’t have coffee it can cause clotting.

Massage

Massaging feet with warm oil will be very effective for cramps. As we all know in our feet there are muscles and veins connected to the every part of our body. And when we give acupressure to the sole of the feet it will sooth the pain and provide you much relief.

 

Now i am sharing you a remedy which is so benefical for the Period pain

Take a pan.
Pour 2 glass of water in it.
Put 1 Tablespoon of Fennel seeds in it
Grate some ginger and put it in the pain
Now sim the glass and wait untill water remained 1 glass.
Strain it. And have it.
You can drink it warm or cold.
If you want to add some sweetness add jaggery powder or honey. Drink it twice a day for curing rhe periods pain.
